Serving the Coeur d’Alene community since 2012, Jim Franklin, along with his son-in-law Austin Elrod, purchased the well-established Mrs. Clean professional cleaning service business in 2017 and formed Coeur d'Alene Cleaning Services, LLC. With extensive experience in home services, which includes alarm systems, audio and video, and pest control, Jim says, “Providing cleaning services seemed like a good fit, and the business became available for sale at the right time—so we dove into it 100 percent.”

Jim has lived in the area for more than a decade now, after relocating from Texas to be closer to family. He is grateful to call Coeur d’Alene home and for the opportunity to own and manage a local business here. “We are very fortunate to live and work in Coeur d’Alene and value our professional relationships with our commercial and residential customers,” he shares.
During the pandemic of 2020, Mrs. Clean has been closed a total of just two days—Easter and the Fourth of July. “We have made disinfection an essential part of our services, and I'm extremely proud of our brave workers who have worked through the challenges and helped to disinfect homes and businesses in our community,” Jim says.
Mrs. Clean continues to grow and improve—as they strive to do every day. The company’s core values are at the forefront of every decision made, and it has paid off! Mrs. Clean is honored to have won the “Best of” Coeur d’Alene in both Maid Service and Janitorial Service the past three years running; something Jim and his team are very proud of and appreciative to the people in their community for voting for them.
